Big Buncos

Tonight was craziness with all the rolling. A big bunco is defined as one roll that generates three 6's.



Whenever a big bunco is rolled the person who rolled it gets to wear the most coveted purple stuffed dice.


Everyone rolled a big bunco. Courtney got one on the last roll of the evening, it was exciting. Even Cindy rolled 2 big ones.


Cherry and Kelley rolled big buncos at the same time, totally unheard of.


This was Jennifer's fourth big bunco of the night (she of course ended up with the big bunco prize)


22 big buncos rolled in one evening, a new world record!!


Cherry won the most buncos with 25 (also a new record) and Dawn won the least buncos with 15 (that is more than how many are usually won for the most buncos of the evening).
It was almost more excitement than we could handle!

July Bunco

Michelle was the July hostess. We had a mexican casserole, corn and chocolate cake with whip cream! We had two subs and one ghost join us for the fun. It was one crazy night.

Somehow at Kelley's house Jennifer W. and Wendy got a hold of the camera. They took a bunch of pictures of themselves. We are not sure how this happened but we all made mental notes (do not give Jen W. or Wendy control of the camera anymore), hehehe.





But of course we love these two!

June Bunco/Kelley's shower

Our June bunco was hosted by Kelley. We had a build your own salad meal along with some pineapple upside down cake. This month Kelley also had a different twist on our typical rules. We tried one silent round. It was really funny. If you talked or made noise you lost a point. Jennifer W. and Leigh lost points.









Kelley is having a baby in Sept. and we usually try to have some type of surprise shower. Well after much email debate we decided that we could really surprise her if we threw the shower at her house. She of course told us we were so wrong for making her cook and clean for her own shower but she was totally surprised. And we were so proud that we actually pulled off the surprise (this has been somewhat of a problem in the past).

May Bunco

It was Janet's turn to host for May. We decided this month to just go out and eat somewhere great. Janet chose Vinegar Jim's, an excellent choice we all agreed. We ate, talked and of course laughed. Then next thing we know Janet is at the cash register paying for everyone's meal, and it was her birthday. A free meal at Vinegar Jim's with some of your closest friends-- it doesn't get much better than that on a Friday night.

April Bunco

April Bunco was held at Courtney's house She made some fantastic meatball subs. I love eating at Courtney's because not only does she make good food she always lets us eat off the good china. It makes us feel special. We had a hard time this month getting together (it seemed to be a month of busy schedules and sickness) so we did not end up actually playing bunco (only 6 in attendance). We just sat and talked. Still a good time for all.

March Bunco

Our March bunco was at Jennifer L's house. We had a funky flip flop theme this month. We enjoyed some finger sandwiches and chips n dip. Also a favorite at Jennifer's is the chocolate fountain. A very indulging flow of chocolate which we dip all kinds of things in (including our fingers).

Here is the winner of the best flip flops. You may not be able to tell but she made her flip flops with little dice on them. Too Cute!

February Bunco

Our February bunco was at Cherry's house. She decided to have a pajama party/valentine theme bunco. So of course we all wore all our favorite valentiny pj's. We also enjoyed some great salad and soup. Earlier that evening there were some snow flurries in the air ( a rare thing in Memphis). Of course that did not stop us from gathering for some rolling of the dice.

Again, an obviously fun time was had by all.

January Bunco

This was bunco in January at Leigh's house. We enjoyed some great taco soup. We had a couple of new subs join us this month.




And here is JenW., all cute and pregnant. Of course she tried to milk the whole pregnant thing as much as she could.
