Tonight was our annual bunco Christmas party. It has become tradition that we have December bunco at Linda's. We don't play bunco this month but everyone does bring a gift and we play dirty santa. Kelley you will be happy to hear there was much 'stealing' going on. We started with a big pot of Gumbo and all sat around what is now known as the infamous girl talk table. We do have some interesting conversations at that table.
We had to keep watch on these two before it was time for the game.
Here we are getting ready for the game:
And then it was time to start opening the presents. We drew numbers. Cherry got to go first.
Jennifer L. was second and even though Cherry had a fun, great gift, she decided to open another great gift. It is always a hard decision, there are no bad gifts.
The unwrapping, stealing, and oohing and awhing continued.
Wendy wins the prize for taking the longest to pick a gift.
Then we had some presents for everyone.
And I cannot believe we did not get a photo of the biggest surprise of all. However you can read all about that surprise on Jennifer L's personal blog.
Here is the group photo. It is one of the best group photos we have.

November Bunco
November Bunco was at Cheryl's. We had chicken and dumplings, macaroni and cheese, and green beans. Then we had French Silk pie for dessert. We had to play with two ghosts tonight, you will see them below. Our subs were Kathy and Lindy.
Here are our ghosts, Cindy and Marie. One is an ugly duckling, I will let you figure out which one.
Leigh and Jennifer had to have a roll off for big bunco winner. Of course we used the light up dice. Leigh won.
And then here is our silly picture for the night.

October Bunco
Our October Bunco was held at Jennier W's house. We decided to have a halloween dress up night and wear costumes. As we arrived one by one the excitement increased. The costumes were very cute and creative. We had a military person, a policewoman, a little girl, a soccer mom, a nurse, a big bunco girl, a runner, a hippie, and a fairy grandmother show up to play bunco.
After our delectable dinner of mexican chicken lasagne, chips and rotel dip and salad, we had hot fudge cake for dessert. Even though the dinner was really good, the hot fudge cake was even better. Then we set off to play some bunco. Even though there was some peer pressure to not play, we did manage to play a couple of rounds.
And we are already training our children to be big bunco babes when they grow up. Taylor really enjoyed rolling the dice but even more she loved to ring the bell. Hmm, I wonder who she belongs to.
And here is the group photo.

September Bunco
Our September Bunco was held at Wendy's house. We had a great Italian dinner that consisted of a Tomato Basil Pizza, Baked Ziti and Salad. And if your mouth is not watering enough right now we then had chocolate eclair cake for dessert.

Happy Birthday to Jennifers!
Jennifer L's birthday is the 26th and Jennifer W's birthday is the 28th. We will both turn the big 30! So my mom conspired and brought an ice cream cake for us to celebrate. We also had tiaras and blowers. We found out that there had also been an email or two that we were left out of as they wanted to surprise us. Several of our silly sisters brought us cards and gifts too. Jennifer W's mom got in on the surprise too. We were truly surprised and loved every minute of it.
The birthday girls turning 30!
Us and our moms, who were gracious enough to join us for the fun.
Here we are opening our gifts and cards.
And here is Leigh cutting the cake and trying to meet our demands of having the biggest pieces, I mean we are turning 30 for goodness sakes.
